Coimbra to Batalha and back - March 2010

"Remember this work is not yours and mine alone, It is the Lord's work, and when we are on the Lord's errand,...we are entitled to the Lord's help." (President Thomas S. Monson)
A lot is happening in the life of our missionary in Portugal. She is so blessed and so happy and looks for the miracles that are around her evey day. I wish I would have made a blog just for Kadie...maybe I still can when I get home.
Kadie and her companion Irma Draper had a invitation to travel with the Senior missionaries to see some sites of Portugal. Elder and Irma Lyman traveled with 4 Ir mas to the City of Batalha. I couldn't get the pics to load here...they saw some beautiful country and Impressive old cathedrals. Then back to Coimbra for more serving the people there. This is Kadie - Mimi and Irma Rachel Draper.
These pics are out of order....I assume that this is at the mission home...Kadie went with her companion at transfers to send her on to the Madeira island and receive her new companion (daughter). This is Elder McLaughlan with the electric fly zapper, Elder Bowman, Kadie and Rachel and Elder Johnson...watching a video of Elder Johnson winning a arm wrestle...or something....down time is good =]
This is a Felizabella... a golden investigator who is so grateful to have found the Gospel truths...her baptism is set and she is soooo ready to embrace the Gospel. The greatest joy of the mission when someone is so ready to embrace Jesus Christ and his goepel truths...miracles every day :)
Have the Faith to be happy - (Johanna Boone)
And...this is Irma Heier from American Fork Utah....Kadie had one transfer with her MTC companion Irma Rachel Draper from SLC area and now she gets to serve with another Utah'n. Kadie is training again and in Coimbra where she is still learning the area...she is a bit anxious but had an amazing first week with all the new changes in her life. Oh cute hair cut too...she says it is getting hotter, all who know Kadie knows that she has more than her share of thick heavy hair....beautiful
Ir mas in beautiful Coimbra! "In God we trust!" (shout it with Glee, Irma Lyman)
